Test bWallet on Android.

bWallet is the Play Store edition of bWalletX: send, receive, tokens, names, chat and calls, with no exchange. It is in internal testing on Google Play. This page says how to join, exactly what to test, and how to tell us what you find.

Join (two minutes)

  1. Make sure the Google account on your phone is the one you gave us on /testers. The test is limited to 100 accounts and only listed accounts can join.
  2. Open the link above on your phone, tap Become a tester, then Download it on Google Play.
  3. Updates arrive through Google Play like any app. Until Google reviews the app, the Play listing shows the package name, com.bitcoincorp.bwallet, instead of bWallet. That is normal for an internal test.

What to test, in this order

  1. First run.Create a wallet, write down the 12 words, set a device password. Then delete and restore it from the words on the same phone. Does everything come back?
  2. Receive.Open Receive, copy the address or show the QR, and send yourself a few pence of BSV from another wallet. How long until it shows?
  3. Send.Pay a $handle, a name@bwalletx.com and a plain address. Does the fee shown match what left the wallet?
  4. Names.Search a name in Names. If it is free, get it. Give one to a friend. Did it take about a minute, and did they receive it?
  5. Chat.Open a room, send a message, open a DM. Scroll both lists past the top: both should bounce.
  6. Calls.Call another bWallet user. Try mute and speaker, and hanging up from both ends.
  7. Lock and accounts.Lock and unlock the app. Add a second account, switch to it and back. Does the right balance show each time?

What to tell us

Anything that felt slow, stuck, unclear, or cost more than you expected. The best report says what you did, what you expected, what happened, and the iPhone model and iOS version.

Two ways to send it

By email: support@bwalletx.com, with your phone model and Android version, a screenshot if you have one, and what you did, expected and got. Paid testers: the 14-day check-in and payments are explained on /testers.
