bWalletX Social

Social in bWalletX starts with your name. One name does three jobs: it's where people pay you, it's a token people can hold, and it's the key to your chat room. Around it: the Feed, calls, and a wallet that knows your friends.

handle@bwalletx.com→ $HANDLE→ $HANDLE room

1. Handles

Your handle is a paymail: an address that looks like an email, such as yourname@bwalletx.com. People send you money, tokens and messages to your name instead of a long string of letters and numbers. Claiming one is free.

A wallet has one main name. It can keep older names that still receive, and Settings › Identity lists every one of them, so nothing receives for you without you knowing. You can unlink any of them.

2. Sign in with X or Google

Prove who you are, and your name is verified:

X → yourhandle.x@bwalletx.com

Sign in with X and you get your exact X username, marked as verified. Nobody else can claim it. How X sign-in works.

Google → yourname.gmail@bwalletx.com

Sign in with a Gmail address and you get a matching verified name. How Gmail sign-in works.

Your X or Google profile picture becomes your wallet's picture too. bWalletX never sees your X or Google password, and your keys never leave your device. If a wallet has a verified name, that name is its main name, token and room. Want a different identity? Add another account.

3. Tokenised handles

Turn your name into a token in one tap: $HANDLE for handle@bwalletx.com. It's a BSV-21 token on the Bitcoin SV blockchain, with a fixed supply that starts in your wallet. Its icon is your profile picture.

Anyone can copy a ticker, so bWalletX checks every token's signed creator record. Only the token actually made by that name's owner gets the check mark. Copycats don't.

Personal tokens are social tokens: they're for access and fun, not investments. They don't pay dividends.

4. The market

Every user token can be bought and sold on the bWalletX Exchange. List some of yours for sale at your own price, or buy someone else's to get into their room. Trades settle directly between wallets on chain; bWalletX never holds your tokens or money.

Before a token shows up in other wallets and the Exchange, its creator pays a one-off indexing deposit to the 1Sat indexer. It's a prepaid balance that pays for the token's transfers, not a fee to bWalletX.

5. Chat rooms

Every user token has a chat room. Hold the token, join the room. Inviting someone is as simple as sending them one token.

The room's owner sets its rules: how many tokens you need to hold to get in, and how chatting uses them up. For example, 1 token per character typed, burned or sent back to the owner. Every room can have its own economy.

6. Social in your wallet

The Friends tab in your wallet is your address book, with your own $NAME token at the top: people you've paid, called, chatted with or followed. A friend only needs a name; if they have a token, their row shows how many you hold, with a button to enter their room or buy in. Message, call or pay anyone in one tap.

7. The Feed

Posts from BSV social apps (bChat, Twetch, Treechat and more) in one Feed: Following, For you and Latest. Post, reply, quote, like, tip the author in sats, or lock BSV behind a post (it stays yours and unlocks at the date shown). Bookmark, mute, block and report are built in.

8. Calls

Call anyone with a name, straight from the wallet. Calls are signed by your wallet key, so people know it’s really you; add the person to your friends from the call screen.
