Portfolio vs market
The price tile at the top left of the wallet used to open the BSV chart. Now it opens Portfolio vs market: how your wallet is doing, compared with the obvious alternatives.
What it shows
- what your wallet is worth now, and your gain or loss in dollars and percent over the range you pick
- ranges of 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year or all time
- a vs market chart: your return against just holding BSV, holding BTC, or keeping dollars, with a line you can drag to read every line at one point
- a value chart in dollars
- your holdings, including locked BSV and MNEE, with each one’s share and change, and your best and worst
- today’s BSV price and change, and a button to the full BSV chart
How it is worked out
Your BSV on each day, locks included, comes from your own transaction history, priced at that day’s rate. Money you send in or out isn’t counted as a gain or a loss; fees are.
Some figures are estimates, and the screen says so. When it has to use a nearby day’s price, it shows “Estimated”. Tokens are left out of the history line because their past prices aren’t known, and the screen says that too. If prices can’t be loaded, it tells you rather than showing made-up numbers.
