Subscriptions, priced in dollars

A subscription should cost what it says, whatever the BSV price does this month. So subscriptions in bWalletX are priced in dollars and paid in BSV at the day’s rate.

How a payment works

You approve a subscription once: the service, the dollar amount and how often. Each period, when you open the wallet, it pays that period’s dollar amount in BSV at that day’s rate. The service can only receive the agreed amount, once per period.

Nothing is locked or paid up front. Prepaying a year at today’s price is just paying a year in advance, and it can’t follow the price, so we don’t do it.

Paid from a pot

Each subscription pays from a pot you choose, such as a Subscriptions pot. Pausing the pot pauses everything paid from it. If a falling BSV price means a pot will run short, the wallet tells you.

One list

Pots & Locks has a Subscriptions card showing how many are active and about what they cost a month. It opens a list of all your subscriptions, with:

You can cancel any time.
