Airdrops: tokens straight to your holders

An airdrop is a token or NFT that turns up in your wallet without you buying or minting it. Issuers use them to reward the people who hold their token. In bWalletX, airdrops get their own address, their own inbox and their own safety rules.

Your airdrop address

Every bWalletX account has an ordinals address: the one that holds your tokens and NFTs. That is your airdrop address. Find it, with a QR code, in Receive › Airdrops, and give it to anyone who wants to send you a token.

An inbox for things you didn't ask for

Anything that arrives unasked goes to the Airdrops inbox instead of mixing into your wallet. Something counts as an airdrop when it was paid to you by a transaction you didn't fund and didn't start, so anything you bought, minted, launched, recovered or swapped stays where it is.

Safe by default

A token's name, picture or link can say anything. No real airdrop ever needs your 12 words, and bWalletX never asks for them outside the wallet. NFT content is shown in an empty sandbox with no scripts and no access to the wallet. And if you try to send to an address that looks like one you've paid before (same first and last characters, a common scam), the wallet warns you and shows the address it resembles.

For issuers: airdrops, not promises

Reward your holders by sending them tokens, not by promising returns. When you create a token in bWalletX, the wallet won't sign a description that promises profits; it asks you to describe airdrops or room access instead. Holding a token gives one thing by default: entry to that token's bChatX room.
