bPositive. Sponsor someone’s journey.
Back a person who is working towards something: a student, an athlete, someone getting sober, a developer learning a new stack, an artist finishing an album. You support them monthly, or pledge money to a milestone that witnesses confirm. It is built inside bWalletX, where the money, the proof and the people already are.
Coming Nothing on this page is in the app yet. bPositive is a plan with the owner’s decisions made (8 Oct 2026). It is not in the released app (5.1.85).
A gift, not an investment
Sponsoring is a gift. Sponsors get nothing back: no share of future earnings, no equity, no repayment and no token. Every screen, receipt and thank-you NFT says so. The only money a sponsor can ever get back is their own milestone pledge that was never released, after the deadline passes.
There is no bPositive token, and bPositive will never be combined with a launchpad coin on the same journey.
How it works
- ComingJourney pages. The person starts a journey in bWalletX: a title, a short story, a category and, if they want, milestones such as “Pass the AWS Associate exam” or “90 days sober”. The journey is a signed record, so a milestone can’t be quietly changed after people pledge. Updates notify sponsors.
- ComingMonthly support from pots. “Support monthly” is a standing order from one of your pots to the person’s paymail. Pause or cancel it any time with one tap. A gift is final, so payments already made aren’t refunded.
- ComingMilestone pledges. You pledge an amount to a milestone. It is paid when witnesses confirm the milestone: 2 of 3 by default, each with a verified identity. At first a pledge stays in a pot in your own wallet and is sent when the confirmations arrive, so it is labelled “Pledged”, not “Locked”.
- ComingRefund after the deadline. A later version locks the pledge on chain, so it can only go to the person once witnesses confirm, or back to you after the deadline. Until then, an unconfirmed pledge simply stays with you.
- ComingThank-you NFTs. Sponsors get a thank-you receipt NFT. It is a record, not a reward: it unlocks nothing in the app and has no promised value.
- ComingSponsors’ room. If the person turns it on, sponsors who hold a thank-you NFT can enter a room for the journey, in bWalletX.
Witnesses
The person names witnesses for each milestone, and each witness has to accept. When the person says “I’ve done it” and attaches evidence, witnesses confirm or decline with a signed, on-chain seal. Witnesses are shown on the journey page with their identity strength, need a verified identity, can’t be the person’s other accounts or a sponsor of the same milestone, and are not paid for witnessing.
The rules
- Coming18+ only. Recipients, witnesses and milestone sponsors must be adults at launch.
- ComingGifts only. No perks for money beyond thank-you NFTs and updates. Offering services or content for money is selling, not bPositive.
- Coming0% fee. The Bitcoin Corporation takes nothing from gifts. You pay the normal network fee.
- ComingSponsor count, not totals. Journey pages show how many people sponsor. Showing amounts is the person’s choice. No countdown timers and no leaderboards of totals.
- ComingReport and block. Journeys can be reported. Sponsors get no contact rights by sponsoring, and recipients can block a sponsor and return a gift.
Only give what you would give a friend. Gifts may have tax consequences where you live; bWalletX gives no tax advice.
Not in the store edition
bWallet, the App Store and Google Play edition, won’t have bPositive at first. Person-to-person payments and standing orders still work there. bPositive lives in bWalletX: web, extension, Android direct download and iPhone.
Why we built it this way: 029 bPositive: gifts, not investments.
bWalletX is in beta: test with small amounts. Nothing here is investment, legal or tax advice. Questions: support@bwalletx.com
