Pots. Set money aside. Pay from it.

A pot is money you set aside inside your wallet. Regular payments come out of it, and never more than is in it. Stop it any time, without asking anyone.

What a pot is

A pot is a named account inside your wallet, like Rent or Savings. It has its own balance. You fill it from your main account and top it up whenever you like.

Each pot has a Top up option, a Stop this pot switch, and its own History of every payment, with a link to each transaction on chain.

The most you can lose

The pot balance is the most any payment from it can ever take. If a pot is empty, nothing more can leave it. Your main account is never touched by a pot payment.

Paying from a pot

Standing orders pay a person or a paymail a fixed dollar amount, daily, weekly or monthly, from a pot. Subscriptions are the same thing paid to an app or service. Both are covered on the Subscriptions page.

Payments go out when you open the app on or after each date. If you miss a few dates, the next open catches up, up to three payments; more than that, it asks you first. If notifications are on, the wallet tells you when a pot is running low or a payment fails.

Pause, resume, stop

Open Settings › Subscriptions and tap a pot. Each payment card has Pause, Resume and Cancel. To stop everything in a pot at once, use Stop this pot; resume it the same way.
