Identity. Your 12 words are the account.
There is no account ID and no email needed. Your recovery words are the account. Everything else here is optional, and you add it when you want it.
Handles
- Live$handles. A name people can pay and message, which is also your paymail.
- LiveNumbered handles. New accounts get a free numbered handle, from $bwallet0101 onward. $bwallet0001 to 0100 are reserved.
- LiveRenames. Change to a name you prove you hold. Your rooms and messages move with you.
- ComingMore than one handle per account. The groundwork is in; adding a second handle is not.
- ComingHandle NFTs. Own your handle as an NFT you can hold or sell, separate from your account.
$401 identity
Link other accounts, such as X or Google, to your on-chain identity. Each link adds to your identity strength, so others can see more than one source vouches for you.
- LiveLinked accounts raise identity strength.
Signatures
- LiveCard signature. Draw your signature once. It shows on the back of your wallet card. It stays on your device and is not put on chain.
- LiveDocument signing. Sign documents with bit-sign. Only hashes go on chain, never the document.
- LiveSign and seal. Sign .NDS.HTML contracts on bit-sign with your drawn signature and your wallet key in one step, sealed on chain, from the Chrome extension or a paired phone. If a paid seal is interrupted, it can be recovered rather than paid twice.

Sign in with bWalletX
Apps can let you sign in with your wallet instead of a password. Your wallet signs a one-time challenge; no password or email is shared. You can also sign in with X through the wallet: see /x. For developers: bwalletx.com/connect.
Verify (ID check)
Most people never need this. It is only asked for when something requires it, such as investing in a private placement.
- LiveHow it works. The check is run by Veriff, through bit-sign. You show an ID document and take a selfie in Veriff’s flow.
- LiveWho holds what. Veriff handles your document and selfie. bit-sign keeps the result, including your name, date of birth and document type, and runs a sanctions check. Your wallet gets a certificate that says you are verified, your country and whether you are over 18. It holds no name, date of birth or document data.
- LiveOn chain. Your personal details are not put on chain.
- ComingSelf-serve deletion. Not built yet. Until it is, ask support@bwalletx.com.
- ComingThe rest of the investor journey. One-tap pay from the wallet and a single investor flow are still being built.
Keys
Your keys are made and kept on your device. They are not sent to us. Lose your 12 words and nobody, including us, can recover the account.
