Live. Your token is the ticket.

Creators go live in a room that only their token holders can enter. Hold the token and you’re in. The token, the payment and the room all sit in one wallet.

The idea

A creator’s room is gated by the creator’s token. Holders get in and watch the creator live: one person on camera, everyone else watching, with chat alongside. Anyone who doesn’t hold the token sees a “hold 1 to join” door, not the stream.

Think creator rooms and subscriber streams, except the subscription is a token you hold. You can keep it, sell it or give it away. Pay-per-minute and tips can sit on top, as options the creator chooses.

Why in the wallet

bWalletX is a smart social super wallet: the things you do with your money belong in the place you keep it. Your token, your payment and the room are all in one app, so there’s no separate platform account, card or subscription to manage.

Holding a token to get in costs nothing extra. Payments go wallet to wallet; you pay the network fee, plus a small indexing fee when a token moves. Any fee on paid streams will be stated up front before you pay. The full version of rooms and spaces lives in bChat.

How it works

• 1Your token. A creator has a token, such as a personal $NAME token (see $handles).
• 2Your room. The room is set to “hold the token to enter”. The server checks holdings on every read and post, so selling the token closes the door.
• 3Go live. The creator opens a space and turns the camera on. Holders watch and chat; the creator can bring a viewer on stage.
• 4Optional extras. Pay-per-minute, tips, or burning a ticket to enter, as the creator chooses.

What works today

• LiveToken rooms. Hold a token to enter a room. In bChat and in bWalletX.
• LiveSpaces in bChat. A host, speakers and listeners, a raise-hand queue, and opt-in camera for people on stage. Runs on our own video server.
• Live1:1 voice and video calls in bWalletX.
• ComingWatching a live room inside bWalletX. Today you go live and watch in bChat.
• ComingPay-per-minute watching. Paid a minute at a time, wallet to wallet, with a spending cap you set.

Content rules

Creators are responsible for what they stream. They must follow the law where they and their viewers are, and our terms. Rooms and messages can be reported, and paid streams will need identity and age checks before they open.

• LivebWalletX only: token rooms. They aren’t available in the store edition, so token-gated live rooms won’t be either.
