Invites. The token is the ticket.
Bring your people into a Space. Each invite carries a small amount of the room’s token, and holding it is what lets them in.
There are two kinds of invite. They do different jobs.
Open Drops
A link holding some of a token. The first person to open it claims it. Good for a post or a group chat, where you don’t know exactly who will come.

Named Invites
An invite for one person. Only the X account you name can claim it, and the token is sent to them automatically when they do.
- Pick peopleChoose X accounts, from the people you follow, your HandCash friends or a pasted list.
- Attach a tokenEach invite carries some of the room’s token. That token is their ticket into the Space.
- They sign inThe named person signs in with that X account, gets bWalletX, and the token arrives. They’re let into the room’s chat.
Friends find each other
Planned: as the people in your contacts join, they’ll be matched to their paymails and show up as friends. You won’t have to look anyone up.
Keep it safe
- An Open Drop link carries the token. Whoever opens it first claims it, so share it only where you mean to.
- A Named Invite works only for the X account it names. Someone else holding the link can’t claim it.
- We never hold the tokens. They go from the host’s wallet to yours.
Where this stands
- ✓ LiveAddress book import (CSV, contact cards, JSON, pasted lists) and export to CSV: in the app, shipping in 5.2.25.
- ✓ LiveSign in with HandCash on bchatx.com: switched on; first real sign-in being tested.
- ✓ LiveHandCash friends into your address book: the server side is live; the wallet button is coming.
- ComingOpen Drops: a link holding a token that the first person to open it claims. Being built.
